SALES ENGINEER

Location: Various geographic locations in Eastern US.

Description:
Provide primary selling and customer support functions in our target markets. Attend company training to become familiar with products and applications. Identify and develop new customer accounts and sales channels as well as maintain and support existing customer and sales channel base. Advise customer so technical solutions to problems in target markets, demonstrate equipment applications to Engineering Firms, Contractors, System Integrators, End users and Sales Representatives. Perform site walk downs, obtain bid documents and assist in proposal or bid development and delivery. Develop sales strategy, close orders and monitor customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
Associates Degree, BSCE, BSEE or BSME, or 5+ years of experience in process instrumentation and control. Sales experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills a must. Process control experience in power plants or water/wastewater treatment is a plus. Up to 50% travel in eastern US.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Location: Various geographic locations in Continental US.

Description:
Use knowledge of process instrumentation and control, instrument applications, and service techniques to install, start up, maintain and repair control systems at customer sites in our target markets. Supervise and/or perform installation of new equipment, field checkout, and startup; ensure equipment and controls have been correctly installed and wired. Develop punch lists, interface with end user and MicroMod engineering departments, and manage project closeout. Perform customer acceptance tests and conduct on-site customer training. Troubleshoot process instrumentation and equipment and advise customer or contractor on issues external to the control system which affect performance.

Requirements:
Associates Degree or 3+ years of experience in process instrumentation and control. Experience with PID control desired. Strong troubleshooting skills and good written and oral communication skills a must. Experience in MicroMod’s target markets is a plus. Must be able to travel.

APPLICATION ENGINEER

Location: Rochester, New York or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Description:
Develop and execute process control system projects using MicroMod and third-party hardware, software and instrumentation. Work in the project engineering department in a team environment, and may have individual responsibility for small projects or components of a project. Fulfils client requirements for industrial control and information systems applications including control system design, drawings, controller and HMI programming, network configuration and system start-up. Complete projects per customer schedules, maintain budgets, expense and project reporting documentation. Perform testing and commissioning of controller/HMI process control systems. Work with project manager to plan and schedule project activities.

Requirements:
Associates Degree or BS in electrical or computer technology fields, or equivalent experience in process control and instrumentation in one or more of MicroMod’s target markets. Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings desired. Control algorithm and HMI programming experience preferred. Experience leading system field startup activities a plus. Must be able to work independently without supervision. Up to 20% travel in eastern U.S.
