Working with the New York Rural Water Association (NYRWA), MicroMod presents a one-day course on Process Measurement & Control.
The course discusses:
Types of measurement available, some common problems and leads the participants toward a basic understanding of the effects of the measurement on the control loop.
Types and styles of control devices from solenoids to motor-driven valves and requirements for successful control of the process and the individual process control loop, delving into common control techniques; ratio, cascade, and feedforward. Emphasis is placed on simple explanations with minimal technical detail.
Each element of the treatment plant and how process control contributes to the initiation of an efficient and expeditious control of the individual process and the overall plant with consideration to cost control.
Participants earn 6 CEU (Continuing Education Units) as approved by New York State DEC and Department of Health.
